I think my “creative” alter-ego will be back sooner than I expected, thanks to these ridiculously awesome works by Luis Toledo.
And I happen to see my good friend’s work here on Tumblr. I don’t think I’ve ever told her this, but La Mort D’ Eros has always been my favorite among everything she’s done.
Last Breath - Randy Ortiz
Bianca has done me again. She’s one of my most talented friends, you really should check her out.
We have a plate in our Composition class wherein we have to imitate an artist’s work but we also have to somehow incorporate our own take on it. I chose to do this one, The Wounded Angel by Hugo Simberg. Instead of the angel, I might do some symbolism of a dead society movement and the two boys might represent some weird contemporary movements in society.
My really talented good friend Bianca made this for me.
Heh. This was the disqualified Shell painting entry Chok & I did. It’s in his house now since I don’t want to be bothered with more canvases in my tiny and disorderly area. It’s not much, but effort sure was put into it.
I’m planning on altering some shit when I have the time, or maybe I’ll just let it be.
Ok.
A bunch of references I need for my open-themed painting for Shell. I think I’m going to invoke depression, misery, confusion, guilt, denial and disappointment. Ain’t it too glum? Heh.

Black dog - depression

Grave - misery

Hourglass - confusion & denial, Ashes (instead of sand) - guilt

Shattered glass - disappointment
Yea, well, I really hope I could pull off a good oil painting in just 6 days (and I still have tons of shit to do besides this)
